Cookie and browser-storage policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
This policy covers the public Mindtro website. It explains what is stored on your device, which optional connections are made and how you control them. Separate product applications have their own notices.
Website operator and controller: Mindtro GmbH, Knesebeckstraße 62/63, 10719 Berlin, Germany. Privacy enquiries and requests: legal@mindtro.com; +49 30 166381616.
Your choice
Optional categories are off before you decide. Accept optional, Reject optional and Choose preferences are available from the first notice. Closing the preference panel, scrolling or following a link does not grant permission. You can reopen Cookie preferences in the footer or on this page, change individual categories or reject them all. Refusal does not prevent access to the website, contact addresses or documentation.
Storage inventory
| Name / technology | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE · first-party cookie | Remember the language you explicitly select; Path=/, SameSite=Lax, Secure on HTTPS. No account identifier. | Up to 1 year from your language selection. |
| mindtro-theme · local storage | Remember the light or dark appearance you select. The initial device theme is read without saving a choice. | Until changed or removed in browser settings. |
| mindtro-consent · local storage | Remember category choices, policy version, selection time and expiry. No unique visitor ID. | 180 days from your most recent saved choice; invalid, expired or outdated choices default to optional services off. |
Optional performance measurements
When enabled by Mindtro and permitted by you, our own /api/metrics endpoint receives page category, language, performance values and selected error events. It does not receive form contents, search text, a visitor identifier or the full page URL in its measurement payload. Network delivery still exposes connection information to the host. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control keep this reporting off. If reporting is not enabled, its preference is unavailable and no measurements are sent.
External maps
Google Maps or the OpenStreetMap tile service loads on the contact page only after map permission. They receive your IP address and browser/request information and may process it outside the European Economic Area. Google may also read or set its own browser data according to its service and browser settings; we do not control provider retention. You may enable maps from the panel or the contact-page control. Withdrawal stops future loading and reloads the page if a map was loaded, to terminate its active connections. Previously transmitted data cannot be recalled; provider storage can be cleared in your browser.
Hosting and external links
Hostinger provides hosting for this public website. This application does not load advertising pixels, Google Analytics or embedded Stripe checkout. Hosting access/security logs are separate from optional measurement and may be needed to deliver and protect the site; see the privacy notice. An external directions, product or payment link connects you to another service only when followed. That service applies its own storage policy. This inventory describes application-managed storage; hosting-layer behaviour can depend on the deployed service.
Legal basis and your rights
Required storage supports the service you expressly request under §25(2) TDDDG. Optional device access requires consent under §25(1) TDDDG; consent-based personal-data processing relies on GDPR Article 6(1)(a). Withdrawal is as easy as giving a choice and does not affect the lawfulness of earlier consent-based processing. The privacy notice describes access, deletion, objection and complaint rights and contact details. Clearing site data resets preferences; blocking storage means choices may last only on the current page. Choices are specific to this browser and website origin, not synchronised across devices or separate domains.
Changes to this policy
We update the inventory when technologies or purposes change. A new consent version asks for a new choice before the newly covered optional processing begins. Consent is also requested again when the saved 180-day choice expires. Changing the website language does not reset your valid choices.
