Website terms of use

Revision: 25 September 2026. Contractual terms apply only when incorporated into the relevant agreement; this revision does not retrospectively change existing contracts.

1. Website scope

These terms concern the public website operated by Mindtro GmbH, identified in the legal notice. You may browse it for personal or business purposes, evaluate products, read research and contact us. Browsing does not purchase a subscription, execute a data-processing agreement or constitute consent to optional tracking. Separate accepted terms govern paid services.

2. Permitted use and rights

You may link to public pages and use material as permitted by law or its stated licence. Do not misuse the site to disrupt services, bypass access controls, distribute malware or unlawfully obtain personal data. Statutory rights, including permitted quotation and interoperability, are not restricted. Security testing against customer targets requires the target owner’s authorisation.

Website content and branding remain protected. Research findings describe the stated experiment, not guaranteed commercial performance. Downloadable open-source software retains its own licence; these website terms do not narrow those rights.

3. Information and external resources

Product descriptions explain the available offering. Your accepted order defines the purchased features, deployment, support and fees. We correct errors when identified. External repositories, maps and services have their own operators and notices; linking to them does not imply an endorsement or transfer our own legal responsibilities.

4. Privacy and contact

The privacy notice explains personal-data processing, and the cookie notice describes browser storage and optional maps. Contact forms must not be used to submit passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. An enquiry alone does not bind either party to a paid engagement.

5. Liability

Mindtro is liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, culpable injury to life, body or health, fraudulent concealment, expressly assumed guarantees and liability that cannot lawfully be limited. For ordinary negligence affecting an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited to the foreseeable loss typical of that contract; an essential obligation is one necessary to perform the contract and on which the customer may reasonably rely. Other ordinary-negligence liability is excluded only where legally permissible. Mandatory consumer, product-liability and data-protection rights remain unaffected.

6. Applicable law and updates

German law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protection under the law applicable to them. Berlin is the agreed venue only for merchants, public-law entities and other cases in which such an agreement is legally permitted. Otherwise the statutory courts remain competent.

Revisions are dated here. A website update does not silently amend an existing customer contract. See the legal notice for company information and the complaint contact.
