Presentation & Frames
Presentation mode ties frames, speaker notes, and documents together for storytelling.
- Create frames: Pick the Frame tool and drag on the canvas to mark the area you want as a slide. Name frames so they’re easy to recognize in the list.
- Order and navigate: Open the frames panel to see every frame in sequence. Click a frame in the list to zoom to it instantly. Reorder frames by dragging them in the panel when you want to change slide order.
- Presenter notes: Each frame has its own notes. Open the notes pane, type your talking points, and keep it visible while presenting or recording. Notes stay attached to the frame even if you move it.
- Combine with content: Frames can surround any mix of nodes (mind maps, stickies, diagrams, code blocks). Resize the frame if you add more content so everything stays visible.
- Full-screen documents: If a frame contains a document node, you can open it full-screen to read or edit without leaving the presentation context. Close to snap back to the frame.
- During a live run: Fit view to the frame before you start, hide overlays you don’t need (Kanban/backlog/roadmap), and keep the notes pane open on a second screen if you’re presenting.
- Editing while prepping: Frames and notes can stay open while you drag nodes, draw, or add tasks. You don’t have to exit presentation mode to keep refining the slide content.
Use frames to structure a walkthrough, then switch into presentation mode to guide stakeholders through the flow.
