State, Undo/Redo, and Drag & Drop
Even complex canvases stay manageable with history controls and easy drag-and-drop.
Undo/redo
- Use
⌘/Ctrl + Zto undo and⌘/Ctrl + Shift + Zto redo. - The app batches rapid changes (like dragging or resizing) so one undo step rolls back the whole gesture.
- If you’re rearranging multiple items, make your moves first—undo will reverse them in order.
Drag & drop
- Drag items from the palette or existing nodes to reposition them.
- You can drag tasks on Kanban, stories in backlog, or epics on the roadmap; each view remembers its own ordering.
- When dropping tasks between Kanban columns, status rules are checked automatically.
Modes and tools
- Toggle pen, highlighter, eraser, or laser pointer from the toolbar. Modes apply to the whole canvas until you switch back.
- The input mode auto-detects mouse vs. trackpad; you can override it in settings if scrolling feels too fast or slow.
Quick resets
- Use “Reset view” on the zoom toolbar to center the canvas.
- Hide overlays (Kanban, backlog, roadmap, comments) with their close buttons to declutter while editing.
Everything you do—adding nodes, drawing, connecting, moving cards—lands in history, so you can experiment freely and step back if needed.
