Tasks

Tasks are linked to canvas nodes and power all work views (Kanban, backlog, roadmap). Use the task popover to see and edit details in place.

• Creating & finding tasks: Add tasks from the canvas or Kanban. Each task can be anchored to a node so you can click the avatar on the canvas to reopen it.
• Standard popover: Quick view with title, status picker, description, assignee, and priority. Best for lightweight updates.
• Extended popover: Full task form with type switch, status/priority, estimate, time tracking, epic, components, and activity feed. You can reorder or hide fields if you want a leaner form.
• Position & drag: When you drag a task avatar on the canvas, its saved position moves so you can park tasks next to related content.
• Preferences: Visibility and order of fields are saved locally, so your layout persists between sessions.

Because every view reads the same task data, updating a task in one place instantly updates Kanban, backlog, roadmap, and the canvas overlays.
