Roadmap

Roadmaps capture the big picture: epics, stories, milestones, and layers. They keep long-term plans connected to day-to-day tasks.

• Epics: Create epics with titles, descriptions, dates, owners/assignees, and colors. Reorder epics to set priority. You can nest epics or assign them to different roadmaps.
• Stories: Add stories under an epic, reorder them, or move them to another epic. Link tasks to stories so execution stays tied to strategy.
• Milestones & layers: Add milestones with due dates and colors. Use layers to group milestones (e.g., by team or stream) and reorder them along the timeline.
• Multiple roadmaps: Manage more than one roadmap in parallel. Each roadmap keeps its own set/order of epics and milestones.
• Position: Open the roadmap from the canvas where you need it; drag the panel to adjust if it overlaps your work.

Roadmaps, Kanban, and backlog share the same tasks, so updates to status and ownership stay aligned across all views.
